I think the McCain people are digging themselves a hole. They are flat out lying (about things like Obama voting for sex education for kindergartners), and people are calling them on it, and they won't back down. Sarah Palin is still claiming she opposed the Bridge to Nowhere and earmarks, when she's clearly on the record, over and over again, supporting the one and asking for the other.
I think this is a real turning point for our country. Can people just lie and get away with it? Does the Press not serve any purpose anymore? It's like we've drifted into some form of McCarthyism. Who's going to be the one to say, "Sir, have you no decency?"
